Manual Test Case Creation

Learn how to create test cases manually in AgentQ. There are two ways to create test cases manually:

  1. Create individual test cases directly through the interface
  2. Import multiple test cases using a CSV template

Option 1: Create Individual Test Case​

1. Create New Test Case​

Click the "Create Test Case" button to begin creating a new test case individually.

2. Add Test Case Details​

Fill in all the necessary details for your test case and click the save button to store it.

Option 2: Import Multiple Test Cases​

1. Import CSV Template​

For bulk creation of test cases, click the "Import" button and use the CSV template option. This is useful when you have multiple test cases to create at once.

2. Select CSV File​

After preparing your CSV file with test cases, select it in the interface. You'll see a preview of your selected file.

Tips​

  • Choose Option 1 (Create Individual) when:
    • You have a small number of test cases
    • You need to create detailed, unique test cases
    • You want to create test cases one at a time
  • Choose Option 2 (Import CSV) when:
    • You have multiple test cases to create at once
    • You want to prepare test cases offline
    • You're migrating test cases from another system
  • Always ensure all required fields are filled out correctly
  • Double-check your test case details before saving
  • Keep test case descriptions clear and concise
  • For CSV imports, use the provided template to avoid formatting issues
